What is the SQUIRREL SLAM that is happening in Holley, New York - receiving outrage and much negative attention from many around the world... Well here it is my dear readers all in a nut shell.
SET DATE FOR HOLLEY, NEW YORK SQUIRREL MURDER - FEB. 22ND
HELP STOP THE INNOCENT DEATHS TODAY!
The Holley Fire Department, those who have spent their lives rescuing and saving countless lives, will be hosting a contest for the people of Holley, which will allow each person to kill up to 6 squirrels in order to win prizes and guns. Contestants, which include children as well, will literally murder these babies, innocent beings that people will see as targets in order to win :( shameful.
So far the Fire Department has sold over 1000 tickets, and the FD focused on children this year with prizes from $50-$200 for the biggest squirrel killed and the heaviest group of 5 dead squirrels :( and according to sources contestants are as young as 12 years of age - teaching our youth cruelty instead of compassion and respect for life.
According to the townsfolk, killing thousands of squirrels is "just another day in Holley"
This event has potential to kill thousands of innocent lives - the exact number however is unclear considering that the HOLLEY FIRE DEPARTMENT does NOT wish to comment - perhaps knowing that these horrific deaths can harm the entire population of squirrels in Holley.
This CONTEST only shows one thing to the people involved - it teaches NOT conservation, compassion and respect for life, but teaches those participating that if you KILL an innocent life, you will be rewarded for it - NOW I ask is this really what we want our future generation to learn, to be part of the sickening chain of cruelty towards living beings?
This contest is nothing more than an embarrassment and an inhumane event that needs to be shut down permanently - and it is the responsibility of America and the world to raise their voices to show Holley, New York that this mass killing is not only cruel, vile and inhumane - but also destroys nature for future generations. Holley, New York needs to take their sights away from the prizes ( $$$, guns etc) and see that they are slaughtering vital parts of the ecosystem and being squirrel serial killers.
