RAISE UR PAW NEWS: LOS ANGELES MAN CHARGED WITH FELONY ANIMAL CRUELTY - DRAGGING PUPPY

On WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2014,  Los Angeles District Attorney's Office announced that DOSSEY JAMES, 28 years old, has been charged with TWO COUNTS of FELONY ANIMAL CRUELTY for allegedly dragging an innocent, defenseless puppy on a leash along a sidewalk.

(Puppy left a trail of blood as James continued to drag it along L.A sidewalk according
to Los Angeles Police Department.)

This horrific and barbaric scene was caught on VIDEO IMAGE and through WITNESS INTERVIEWS.

It was apparent, that the defenseless young brown pit bull mix clearly didn't know how to walk on a leash. James seemed to not care and dragged the suffering, poor animal leaving a trail of blood behind it, instead of being PATIENT and TEACHING the puppy the BASIC TRAINING SKILLS NEEDED.

According to REPORTS FROM THE DA’S OFFICE, the puppy was bleeding from his stomach and legs and therefore required surgery in order to repair the damage that was done.

The little puppy is expected to make a full recovery, and is now in the care of the South Los Angeles Animal Shelter.

James is currently being held on $145,000 BOND after authorities discovered a RELATED INCIDENT of animal abuse against the suspect.

Thanks to citizens being able to capture scenes and videos of animal cruelty happening, the Authorities are seeing a better war waged against animal abusers.

James is set to appear in court, for January 22.
