OPEN LETTER TO STEPHEN HARPER and GOVERNMENT - SAVE FRANK'S FARM

Dear Mr. Harper and Government:

    As the lyric goes in the song "O CANADA" - WE STAND ON GUARD FOR THEE, this is truly a line that many supporters of helping FRANK MEYER in TRENTON, ONTARIO save his farm are feeling and doing.  They are standing guard and spreading the word in order to not only save a farm, but to save a legacy and mark that a man has made in this world so that future generations can see and grow from. 

     It is truly heartbreaking what FRANK MEYER is going through, the stress of losing his home, his land, his mark being taken from him -- creating something so priceless, and yet have someone walk in and put a price tag on something that no amount of money could ever amount to what this land, this life means to him.

    Can you truly put a price on that? could you accept selling your place in this world, your child -- your individual mark on this earth? of course not, no one can.

     We as supporters are showing you the big picture -- leading you to see that this more than just about land or property that you see, it is something so much different in the eyes of this 85-year old man, and if you could look through his eyes, you would truly witness what this mere property means to him - that this is his life, the breath that he breaths into his lungs, the heartbeat within his chest -- the home and world that he created for himself... can we really as a country that is suppose to be based on FREEDOM and LIFE, take that light from him - to take away his existence because of the want for mere land. Is that what we are about? Can we truly demand him to start over again?

     I have read the articles, seen the pictures, watched the news and each time you can see the support to save this man's farm growing, that we are uniting as a "FAMILY" not just Canadians, but around the world - strangers lending help and hands, voices coming together as one - strong and proud, in order to help an individual in need.  It is these "ANGELS" that are showing the true meaning of the word LOVE, HOPE, INSPIRATION and HUMANITY -- and I am truly proud of each one, because they are the power that lights up UNITY and that truly means something that no words can describe.
